KYAIKKHAMI PAGODA

The Pagoda is built on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge-like walkway. During high-tide the lower walkway gets flooded but you can walk on the upper level. The building containing the Buddha Images can’t be entered by women, they have to see the Image from a platform. The scenery is probably more attractive than the architecture.
