Day2 Ywa Pu- Kalaw

Day 1.Kalaw – Yae Aye Kan – Hin Khar Kone – Myin Dike-Ywa Pu

Early morning trekking to the Palaung hill tribe villages will begin from the outskirts of the town. Walk through the forested area of the region to the Hin Khar Kone Palaung village (2 ½ hours).You will pass tea leaves and orange plantations grown on the slopes on the way. Lunch will be served at one of the local family houses prepared by your trekking guide. After lunch proceed to Myin Saing Kone and Myin Dike Danu hill tribe villages (1 ½ hours) passing through the vegetables fields. See the life style of the people at the Train Station of Myin Dike. Proceed to the Danu village of Ywa Pu (30mins :). Dinner and spend over night at the local family house of Ywa Pu village.

Lunch and Dinner provided (prepared by your trekking guide). Over night at village house.

Important remarks: The trekking is strenuous if one is not experienced. It is however not so much climb. The landscape is very attractive; you walk through areas that have not seen mass-tourism. We will transfer your main luggage by car to the Lake, so you need to carry light luggage for the 2 days only. Please bring warm clothes as it might be very cold during the night (minimum temperature can be 3 degrees Celsius in January, and 6-10 degrees Celsius in February but during the day it is warm with intense sun)
There is no electricity!
All meals during the tour are included. Please expect simple home cooking style, prepared by your trekking guide.

The porter(s) will be carry the bottled drinking water and provisions. Very basic overnight stay at local houses or Monasteries is available to you; only providing mats on the floor and blankets to cover yourself. There is no comfort at all. Myanmar style "bathrooms" and "toilets" can be used. No hot shower available, please bring your own towels if you have special needs, but we will provide basic towels on request. The accommodation is not even at the level of a guesthouse.

Day 2.Ywa Pu- Kalaw

After simple breakfast prepared by your trekking guide, start walking again to return to Kalaw ( 2 hours) passing vegetable fields.
